Jesus gives us a serious food for thought this morning when he says, "Tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the Kingdom of God before you." Jesus is referring to the religious leaders (chief priests and elders) who claimed to follow God but didn't truly repent. They were less righteous than the societal outcasts who recognized their sin and genuinely believed John the Baptist's message of repentance, showing true obedience and faith through changed actions. Jesus is talking as well to us today. Following Christ is not just words or status or appearance, it is all about genuine life of humility and true change of heart. To be a Christian is to follow God's will even if it's uncomfortable. It is not about outward piety or religious title. Am I a person who says "yes" publicly to the Lord but do not fulfill his commandments in the secret of my heart?
